Grey Bush Chat
The Grey Bush Chat is a species of small songbird in the family Muscicapidae found in the Himalayas, southern China, Taiwan, Nepal and mainland Southeast Asia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. Seen in pairs or small flocks they are bold but not very active, usually seen perching for long periods on posts and overhead wires. Song is bright and melodious, but often has a somewhat faltering quality, trailing off towards the end.

The Slaty-blue Flycatcher (Ficedula tricolor) is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae found in the Indian Subcontinent & Southeast Asia, ranging across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Mrs. Hume’s Pheasant
The Near Threatened Mrs. Hume's pheasant, also known as Hume's pheasant or the bar-tailed pheasant, is a large, dashingly plumaged, long-tailed terrestrial forest pheasant. The male has a chestnut body, steely blue neck & wing patches, white wing bars, and a long black-and-white banded tail. The brownish female is shorter-tailed, with black-spotted upperparts and red facial patch. They are usually found singly, in pairs, or in trios in forest openings, meadows, and along rural roadsides, typically in the early morning.

Orange-bellied Leafbird
The orange-bellied leafbird is a bird native to the central and eastern Himalayas, Yunnan and northern parts of Southeast Asia. The greyish-crowned leafbird, which is found in Hainan, is again considered conspecific. The scientific name commemorates the English naturalist Thomas Hardwicke.

Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher
The Rufous-gorgeted is a bold little flycatcher of mid- to high-altitude forests with a flashing black-and-white tail. Male is brown above with a black face, white eyebrow, and orange throat patch (gorget). The female is essentially a faded version of the male with a dark gray face and a pale, largely unnoticeable gorget. Usually perches at middle levels, sallying from its perch to catch flying insects. Often joins mixed-species feeding flocks.

Japanese Tit/ Oriental Tit
This common tit is large & pugnacious and found in a wide range of wooded habitats, from dense hill forests to manicured city parks. Found throughout much of East Asia, this species is closely-related to the more brightly-colored Great Tit, from which it was split as a distinct species.

Himalayan Bluetail
The brightly coloured adult male is unmistakable in range, a blazing sapphire blue with orange flanks and white throat and belly. The female is brown with a white throat, orange flanks, and pale blue rump and tail. The Himalayan Bluetail has a bright blue eyebrow and brighter, deeper blue upper parts in the male. Their song is a simple, repeated “tcher-thcew-wee!”. They breed in submontane forest up to the treeline descending in the winter, often moving into edge habitats.

Ultramarine Flycatcher
The ultramarine or white-browed blue flycatcher is a small arboreal Old World flycatcher in the ficedula family that breeds in the foothills of the Himalayas & winters in southern India. The incandescently beautiful male is resplendent in electric blue and snowy white. The female is a dull gray-brown with paler underparts. It breeds in hill and montane broadleaf & pine forests descending into the lower foothills in winter.
