Hawa Mahal
Jaipur's Hawa Mahal (The Palace of Winds) is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive monuments in India. It is certainly one of the most iconic landmarks in Jaipur. Located at Badi Chaupar (Big Square), in the walled Old City of Jaipur, it is part of India’s popular Golden Triangle Tourist Circuit and can be easily accessed by rail, road or air.
Swan Lake
Lake Kussharo, an inland lake in the west of Hokkaido, is a caldera lake, a remnant of a long-ago erupted volcano. Its violent, seismic past is evident even today, with natural hot springs bubbling up along its shoreline, heating both the water and gravelly shores. It is here where the Whooper Swans gather to find refuge from Hokkaido’s brutally cold winters.
Vihara Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva
Also known as the 500 Lohan Temple, Vihara Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is one of Bintan’s best hidden treasures. Located in Kijang (South Bintan), the premise is just a short drive away from the main bustling scene of Tanjung Pinang. Step into the temple grounds and be transported into surreal settings of towering structures and the highlight—more than 500 life-sized (Lohan/arhat) stone statues with intricate physique and facial expressions, each one unique and different from the next.
