Malayan Swamp Babbler/ White-chested Babbler
The Near Threatened Malayan Swamp Babbler (Pellorneum rostratum), previously named the White-chested Babbler, is a species of bird in the ground babbler family, Pellorneidae, that is found in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, the Riau Islands, the Lingga Islands and the island of Belitung. It was formerly considered to be conspecific with the Bornean swamp babbler (Pellorneum macropterum). Quite nondescript, these typically move in pairs. Similar in appearance to Ferruginous Babbler but is duller, grayer, and more specialized in its habitat preferences.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Blood Moon Eclipse
On the night of September 7, 2025, observers across Asia, Australia, Africa, and Europe were treated to a rare and captivating celestial event: a total lunar eclipse, commonly known as a "Blood Moon". For approximately 82 minutes, the Moon took on a striking crimson hue as it passed through Earth's darkest shadow, captivating billions with its deep, dramatic red glow. Red-breasted Flycatcher
A distinctive, small and winter migrant flycatcher where the males have a rusty-orange throat that continues onto the breast. All plumages have a distinctive tail pattern with black terminal bar and white sides. The wings relatively plain & a white eyering is noticeable. When perched, the tail is often held cocked with the wingtips drooping. It breeds in mature deciduous mixed forest, wintering in forests, woodlands and parks.
